Blue Skies employee's, from the courteous sales staff to the efficient and detailed painters, will always give you and your house the best service possible. Color changes are our specialty, and our staff are more than happy to accommodate you in the difficult process of changing your home's appearance. Customer service and attention to detail are two of the pillars that make Blue Skies Painting and Renovations a leader in the industry.

The products we apply to your house are the third pillar to our success. Sonneborn is the manufacturer of the breathable, protective, waterproof stucco coatings and high performance sealants. Sico makes the paint for all wood and metal applications.

Hands are the most important part of our team, and the fourth pillar Blue Skies promises every customer. We initially move any vegetation away from the house, taking great care to provide your plants with the least amount of stress possible. We then hand wash your house with TSP and bleach. TSP prepares the surface for painting, and bleach kills any mold spores that may be present.

Blue Skies takes pride in the fact that we are a cut above the rest in our preparation work. In fact, we are pioneers in this field. For instance, on a cedar siding home that is going to be stained, we seal every crack, knot hole, builders split, nail head, and shrinkage gaps on the house prior to staining. Most homes that use our services have curled siding on the south side. We screw down all the curled siding wherever needed on your home. Blue Skies now saturates the siding with two very thick coats of Sico premium stain, and three coats wherever needed.

On stucco homes we repair all cracks, seal all gaps around doors, windows and wherever the stucco ends. We replace any missing pieces of stucco. We also test stucco for moisture and strength. We then apply two very thick coats of Sonneborn waterproof coating to all your stucco and foundation using brushes and rollers only.

For wood siding and trim that has been previously painted, our preparation is as follows: we scrape all loose paint, spakkle fill all affected areas, and sand spakkle to even out levels, and then apply primer. Then we seal all builders splits, nail heads, gaps and replace loose or missing putty in windows. We then hand paint two coats of Sico premium, three coats on south and west sides as needed.

Quality assurance is achieved through three stages - the first stage includes the painters themselves checking over each other's work applied by other team members. The second stage includes the crew chief and the operating manager. The third is an inspection with yourself and the operating manager at the end of the job.
