Our crews are the backbone of our company. Their attention to detail in preparing your house for surface applications are one of reasons our paint jobs weather the years beautifully. Each of our crews is managed by one of our experienced Crew Managers who is intimately familiar with and has been trained to follow our unique process. When our crew arrives at your house, you can be rest assured that we will only be focused on your job until it is complete. We pay particular attention to preparation, application and the clean up afterwards so that when our owner, John, completes the job with an onsite inspection with you, you will be impressed with the results.

Wood Process

On a cedar siding home that is going to be stained, we seal every crack, knot hole, builders split, nail head and shrinkage gaps on the house prior to staining. Most homes that use our services have curled sidiing on the south side. We screw down all the curled siding wherever needed on your home. Blue Skies now saturates the siding with two very thick coats of Sico® premium stain, and three coats wherever needed, using brushes and rollers only.

Stucco Process

On stucco homes, we repair all cracks, seal all gaps around doors, windows and wherever the stucco ends. We replace all missing pieces of stucco and test the stucco for moisture and strength. We then apply two very thick coats of Sonneborn® water-proof coating to all your stucco and foundation, using brushes and rollers only.

Colour Selection

Picking out the right colours for your home can be a challenge! To assist you with colour selection, we apply colour patches directly to your home so that you can select the exact colour and see how it will look on your house in different lighting. This takes the guesswork out of wondering what it will look like and ensure you are happy with the colour prior to painting your entire house with it.
